Oops

Just had to edit yesterday's post 'cause I had all my links in the wrong places. Still this is something of a diadactic exercise and we learn from our mistakes.
Anyways, I was going to think more about political history before I posted again, but having just had a very annoying bus ride home I have to have a rant instead.
Quite simply people should never ever ever have conversations on any form of public transport if there are other people near by who are going to have to hear them.
I sat through a good 15 min of exciting old lady talk today. Intelligent well educated older women, I must say but no way in hell will a story of how mail boxes kept blowing up in yesterday's howling gale ever be interesting to anyone whose mail box wasn't involved. And lets be honest I don't think many mail box owners would enjoy a full 5 minutes on the topic. I mean we all get trapped in boring conversations sometimes, but listening, because let's face it there isn't much else to do on a bus, to other people's is just awful. Therefore strict silence should always be maintained. Especially, and I can't stress this enough, cell phone silence. One sided conversations are even worse.
Well I feel better now.
