The Lights at the end of the tunnel
Tend to cause traffic jams. Especially when it rains, and boy has it been raining this week. I mean WET is just an entirely inadequate word for what the atmopshere is like right now.
Anyway, so it took a good 10 min to get through the tunnel yesterday and the guy in the car behind must have been staring at the back of my car for a while. We got to the lights, which were of course red, and I saw him get out of the car and walk up to my window.
'Holy crap,' I thought, 'what did I do wrong?'
Road rage fears at the fore.
But it turns out what I had encountered instead, was a public spirited individual. Apparently one of my lights is full of water and I need to look into it otherwise it will cause bigger problems, which is good to know. although I now have something else to fret about since I am rather attached to my car.
Still, I found the whole thing pretty weird. I don't get concerned citizen thoughts about other drivers. I mostly get 'stupid selfish git' type thoughts. But mostly I zoned out, in a rather alarming manner, particularly in traffic jams.
Nice to know there are nice people out there though.
