The Mystery of the disappearing floss

Possibly a new low in terms of trivality but a great, and current, source of annoyance. I just keep losing the stuff. I brought a new box, to replace a missing one on Monday and it was lost by Wednesday. I don't know where it is going. Plus it is really messing with my recent resolution to floss more often.

Another deep source of annoyance is Real Player. I have been trying to play an .rm video file which it says it can't 'cause I need an update. Window Media Player and Quicktime (my preferred options) want nothing to do with it. So I have to download the latest version, which I did. It installed loads of crap and advertising (and god knows what else) on my computer and not only will this file still not play but the ones that were working fine before all this started won't work either and then it crashes my computer. So I have to uninstall it and reinstall the old version. So I guess I won't get to see this video.
I suppose I shouldn't expect to get good things free. Still I didn't expect to waste about 3 hours on the whole process, not to mention the stress and all to achieve exactly sweet FA. No doubt if I spent more time and effort on the process I could get it all to work, but law of diminishing returns and all.

Still it is a good reminder why I don't and NEVER EVER will use Real Player as my default anything (and they can get their nasty little icon out of my sys tray too.)
