Or,
Cats and string.
Last week I was just in the garden murdering plants, or weeding as they call it. A truly endless and thankless task, especially if you let the beds get as bad as I have. The neighbours' very energetic calico cat came over to help. While watching her pounce about in the bushes weed was fun, the scratches from her stalking me did get tiresome. So I diverted her with a bit of rope that a keen in the house entirely for the purpose of playing with her. It got draped across her back with two ends dangling and gosh that kept her busy for ages. Either she is very easily entertained or just not very bright. With cats you never really know. They can be devious and remarkably cunning when it comes to getting you to do things for them, then waste hours chasing after bits of string. Since little 3-in-1 only comes over to play I haven't really seen her Machiavellian side.
In other news,
I am somewhat perplexed. I had a nightmare last night, you know the whole deal. Endlessly walking up a hill which I couldn't quite reach the top of only to end up returning to my old job, which I hated, while not quite adequately clothed.
Classic anxiety dream images. What gets me is I am not aware of being particularly anxious about anything. My caffeine consumption has been creeping up though, could be that.
